Today in France, the NBA 2K video game is transitioningto E-sport with events such as the NBA 2k18 E-cup organized by 2KFrance this past March. This has been the first and only official national competition crowning the winner with the French National champion title!

In the US, the transition was made through a partnership between the NBA and the video game publisher 2KSPORT which gave birth to the first professional e-sport league, the NBA 2K league. This league functions similarly to how the NBA does.

Based on this observation, Olivier Gnahoui, creator of NBA2KCONTEST(@NBA2KCONTEST on twitter) anorganization that has started setting up NBA 2K tournaments for over a year and Julien Zoa, our sports manager joined forces to create the first French Inter-clubs NBA 2K league.
